The man found guilty in the murder of a St. Martin Parish teenager seven years ago will spend the rest of his life behind bars.
Tyrone Davis has been sentenced on three different counts, including the murder of Parks teenager Allison Castex in December of 1997.
Davis was also sentenced to 40 years of hard labor for the kidnapping of Michael Hebert and 15 years of hard labor for possession of a firearm after being convicted of a felony.
His accomplice, 33-year-old Brian Keith Francis, identified Davis in order to avoid the death penalty and is currently serving a life sentence for his role in the young woman's death.
District Attorney, Chester Cedars says both got what they deserved.
Chester Cedars/D istrict Attorney: I think Tyrone Davis still doesn't get it..Doesn't get the fact that he's a criminal. As such, he got the maximum sentence for everything and will be a partner in jail with Francis, where both of them belong...
Davis will serve all three sentences consecutively.
He had nothing to say as he was escorted back to the St. Martin Parish Correctional Facility.
